Teachers across Huntsville City Schools (HCS) returned to their classrooms on Friday, Aug. 7, 2020. Teachers are preparing their classrooms and engaging in professional development for the upcoming school year. Teachers received temperature checks and answered a series of health-related questions as they entered facilities.
“Today has been a fantastic morning with teachers back in the building,” said Dr. Brad Scott, principal of Blossomwood Elementary. “They are excited to prepare their classrooms and get things ready for the students, which will be very soon.”
The first day of school for students is Monday, Aug. 17, 2020, when traditional students will engage in the first nine weeks of school remotely.
