Students at Lakewood Elementary now have a new and fun way to get excited about reading.
Toyota Alabama unveiled a book vending machine at the school today as part of Read Across America Week.
Students will receive tokens for demonstrating positive behavior at school, and students will use their tokens at the vending machine to get new books.
Toyota Alabama team members also read to students where children were dressed in their "wacky tacky" outfits as part of the Read Across America Week celebrations.
