Huntsville City Schools (HCS) is thrilled to highlight the ongoing success of the girls’ flag football season.
The girls’ flag football teams have demonstrated outstanding performance with players exhibiting skill, determination, and teamwork on the field. The season has been met with enthusiastic support from students, parents, and the broader community, making each game a celebration of athleticism and progress.
"Players have shown incredible skills and teamwork on the field, and fans are excited as they cheer on their favorite teams each week," said HCS Athletic Coordinator Mac Howard.
The HCS girls’ flag football program aims to help players build confidence, compete, and grow while also showcasing the commitment and dedication of student athletes. This initiative not only strengthens its athletic offerings but also enriches the overall student experience.
Among HCS' teams, Lee advanced to the playoffs and will face Minor on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The game will be available on the NFHS Network starting at 6 p.m.
