Congratulations to former Grissom football standout Jon Sumrall on being named the new head coach of Tulane University!
Sumrall, who was previously the head coach at Troy, won back-to-back Sun Belt Conference championships with the Trojans.

The Superintendent’s Visual Art Show will be held Dec. 7 at 6: 30 PM in the Lee High School Blackbox Theatre! Everyone is invited to view the amazing art that students from across our district have produced. Admission is free.

Congratulations to the Lee Lady Generals on advancing to the 6A/7A state Flag Football semifinals after defeating Hewitt-Trussville Monday evening 32-13 at Milton Frank Stadium, securing their spot in the state semifinals against Vestavia Hills.
Veterans Day will be observed on Friday, Nov. 10, 2023. All schools and offices will be closed.
Classes will resume Monday, Nov. 13, 2023. Progress reports will go home Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2023.

The HCS College Counselors will host a College Night for seniors and their parents on Aug. 17 at the Huntsville High Freshman Academy beginning at 5:30 PM!
HCS Representatives competed in a charity golf tournament hosted by Legacy Homes and presenting sponsor Capstone Reality to benefit Chapman Elementary! HCS is grateful for the support of our community partners!
